Forceps
In space and astronautical engineering, forceps are a type of specialized tool used for grasping and manipulating objects in microgravity environments. Due to the lack of gravity, traditional forceps are not effective in space as they rely on the force of gravity to hold objects in place. Space forceps are designed with serrated jaws and a locking mechanism to securely hold objects in place. They are commonly used in spacewalks and robotic operations to handle delicate equipment and perform maintenance tasks on spacecraft and satellites.
