Telemetry
Telemetry is the process of transmitting and receiving data from remote sources. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, telemetry is used to monitor and control spacecraft and their subsystems. This includes the collection and transmission of data on spacecraft health, performance, and environmental conditions. Telemetry systems can also be used to control spacecraft systems, such as adjusting the spacecraft's trajectory or activating scientific instruments. Telemetry data is typically transmitted to ground stations on Earth, where it is analyzed and used to make decisions about spacecraft operations.
